5 out of 5 stars Great for the money   December 23, 2009

Bought one of these for my bedroom, to watch programmes while recovering from major surgery. Works perfectly, was easy to set up (plug and play!) and although the box was a little bashed, it came well packaged and the remote even had batteries in it. I'm now thinking about buying one for the living room too - several friends have bought far more expensive brands - only for them to have developed faults. You can't beat this for value, and if it lasts even 6 more months I'll be satified with what I got for the price I paid!

5 out of 5 stars Good value and quality   December 29, 2009

Bought this a few months ago - a good machine, which allows one to make the most of freeview. Quite easy to use despite losing the manual a few days after receiving it. I was a little concerned initially because the machine looked like it had been used a lot (scratches on the shell), but I can't complain because it was not advertised as new. Has not disappointed, with good quality recordings and easy to use, which is quite important because the set is primarily used by my mum. Hope it keeps it up.

5 out of 5 stars DOES WHAT IT SAYS ON THE TIN - RECOMMENDED   December 28, 2009

I bought this a few months ago and it has been great. I previously had a digihome which was good. This one is quite small and it is one previously sold at Asda. It is very easy to use and to set up, especially the electronic programme guide. This is a good starter model if you are new to PVRs so you can see if you like them. They are great and will change your TV viewing habits. This is cheap as starter models at Argos are £80 plus

5 out of 5 stars Good Product   January 14, 2010

I wasn't sure about this product because of the price difference compared to other freeview boxes on the market but it's great. The box was abit taty but that doesn't matter because its only the box. The freeview box does everything it needs to and all the wires and remote was included aswell. I think that this product is a bargain for the price lets just hope it lasts a long time.

5 out of 5 stars Slow browsing but has all the whistles and bells   January 31, 2010

Works fine, lots of room to save a series for later. Smart look. Reactions seem a little slow when browsing menu, and remote is the usual cheap tacky item, but it does the job well, and what more do you want for the price? Good value, I have had dearer boxes which were less successful.
Has all the whistles and bells such as pausing live TV, record one channel while watching another, record two channels at once if you are out, record series at one click, set reminders, without breaking the bank or signing your life away with Sky or Virgin.
