The DMC-FS10's large 2.7-inch LCD features high 230,000-dot resolution Intelligent LCD. It automatically adjusts the brightness in 11 steps according to shooting conditions. This LCD provides sharp, clear images in virtually all shooting situations, ranging from nighttime to bright daylight scenes. In addition, the High-angle Mode makes the display extremely easy to view from a low angle, for example, when taking photos by raising your hand upward to capture the subject over the crowd.

I bought this to replace a Sony Cybershot W70, which dropped out of my pocket while hill climbing. I liked the Sony, but my new Panasonic Lumix FS10 is absolutely superb. I especially wanted a lightweight, slim camera that I can put in a trouser pocket - and this camera fits the bill. I have just come back from a holiday and viewed the photos that I took on my computer and on my TV (for which a connector is supplied) - the images are superb. Even those taken at 0.3mp are very good. The 28mm wide angle lens is excellent, as is the optical image stabiliser. The quality of the videos is exceptional and the 2.7" LCD screen is extremely clear. I would quite like to have had an optical viewfinder, but these are becoming increasingly rare. It would also have been nice to have had a recharging cradle into which the camera could be placed after use, rather than have to remove the battery for charging, but the Sony was the same in this respect. Altogether a superb camera.

This seems a great little camera easy to use and small enough to carry around. It does video, up to 15 mins at a time so I don't need another video camera. I have the 8GB memory which is plenty.

I'm using this camera for over 2 months now. It is a great camera picture quality is great and it has very powerful zooming facility up to 5x. And its capturing and saving speed are also great. I'm totally satisfied with this camera really love for the intelligent mood as it does all the things correct which need for quality photos for us.
HD video recording is also good. I recommend it for a friend.

This is probably one of the best cameras you can get for its size and price. I was unbelievabley impressed with it!
It delivers sharp, crisp and VERY detailed photos EVERYTIME.
I just took it out it's box and started snapping away and it did'nt dissapoint
Would recomend this to anyone, if your looking for a sexy, slim, easy to use camera which truely delievers on picture quality.... GET THIS CAMERA!

I bought the Lumix FS10 for those occasions when I needed to slip a small camera in my pocket and not be weighed down by an SLR. A primary selling point was the 5X optical zoom coupled with 12.1 MP. The intelligent Auto feature works well and the end quality is clean and sharp. It functions well as a point and shoot camera, but with enough additional features and picture clarity to please enthusiasts. I have yet to explore some of these features, particularly the HD video option, but all in all the FS10 is an excellent camera for the price and I am happy to recommend it.
